How to transfer your website to Minshew Networks

• You can keep your domain name registered with your current registrar and use Minshew Networks for hosting only OR you can transfer both your domain name and your hosting to Minshew Networks.

1. Transfer your domain name and hosting to Minshew Networks.
   1. Unlock your domain name at your existing registrar.
   2. Contact us to let us know that your name is unlocked.
   3. Minshew Networks will request the transfer.
      1. You must approve the transfer request via email.
      2. This process takes a few days to complete.
   4. Domain name registration is $20 a year, first year free!
   5. All domain names are registered with WHOIS privacy protection.^[?]
   6. Contact us if you would like your WHOIS information to be public.
2. Keep your domain name with your current registrar and use Minshew Networks for hosting only.
   1. In your registrar’s website, find your nameservers (sometimes referred to as DNS).
   2. Change your nameservers to:
      1. ns1.minshew.net
      2. ns2.minshew.net
      3. ns3.minshew.net
   3. Once changed, it only takes a few hours for the Domain Name System to update.^[?]
   4. Continue paying your existing registrar for your yearly domain registration.

How to transfer your website from Minshew Networks

• Basically it’s the same process as above in reverse.

1. Contact us so that we can unlock your domain name.
2. Once unlocked, request the transfer from your new account.
3. Contact your new service provider for specific details and timeline.
